2010 Betty Bash Volunteer Opportunities

Co-Chairs: Joannie Keller, Michelle Kovacs
Coordinate and track committees, maintain calendar, hold monthly meetings with all committee members.

Check in/out- Chair: Lauren Kuetemeyer
Help organize easy check in/out process and assist auction committee with sales and payment.

Decorations-Co-Chairs: Jean Alt, Jane Rubin, Sue Slaughter
Create cost-effective decorating plan which reflects auction theme.
Pick up and install decorations the day of Betty Bash; take down the following day.

Entertainment- Chair: Carrie Erzinger
Secure entertainment and coordinate delivery and set up.

Food and Beverages- Chair: Patrice Rich
Solicit/secure vendors; coordinate delivery, set up, and serving staff; and ensure vendors' recognition for contribution.

Graphics-Chair: Lynn Granstrom
Work with graphic designer to create invites, save the date and RSVP cards, etc.
Help with posters, flyers, and signage, and create banners in various sizes for the Bash.

Greeters - Chair: Karin Woie
Welcome arrivals, answer questions, help Auction committee as needed.

Program Book - Chair: MJ Brady
Assist with the online auction book; request logos from vendors, donors, and local businesses; and
help with description of silent auction items.

Public Relations/ Publicity- Chair: Alison Hall
Create early publicity hyping the event, timely press releases and post-event follow-ups for area publications.
Work with Graphics.

Service Stories-Co-Chairs: Nancy Wells, Emelie Ventling
Review MTF weekly service requests and create compelling auction stories. Design some type of service display.

Silent Auction-Co-Chairs: Joy Gibson, Cath Trofholz
Solicit high quality auction items; organize and inventory items; create labels, bid sheets, signage for auction tables; and write descriptions of the items for the program book. Solicit donor ads for the program book.
Help with the set up/ tear down of auction tables.

Sponsorship-Co-Chairs: Chair: Emelie Ventling, Cheri Richardson
Identify targets, solicit event night sponsors and ensure sponsorship recognition.
