Mothers Trust Service Meeting Blog December 14, 2011

Today we had 29 cases, with 3 held over from prior weeks.  5 were placed on hold pending further information, 2 were denied and 22 requests were granted. One case involved a family of 5 with a special needs child. They had an overdue bill from the gas company and were being threatened with disconnection.  We paid that bill so that the family would have heat for the winter. Another request was for a school lunch program for 2 teenage boys, and 2 cases involved requests for eyeglasses for special needs children.

We will have a service meeting next  Wednesday, December 21, and we will not meet again until Wednesday, January 4, 2012.  Happy Holidays Everyone!
