Mothers Trust Service Meeting Blog January 4, 2012

Happy New Year Everyone!  Today we were back at work with 23 cases, 4 carried over from our last meeting on Dec. 21 2011.  5 Cases were placed on hold pending further information, and 18 cases were granted including including 5 portable crib requests, 3 for eyeglasses, 3 for sports program fees, 3 for clothing needs etc. One particularly difficult case involved a single mother of 4 young children not receiving child support who needed help with her December rent.  Our total amount of grants today was $2781.

Our next meeting will be held next Wednesday, January 11 at 9:30 am.  We welcome all visitors!
